Digital Artist

Last updated 1 year ago

In the ideal world a digital artist can be described as the one who:

  • Identity - the artist is a real person

  • Has a crypto wallet (wallet id on a blockchain)

  • Has digital content (e.g. a picture file) to be published as NFT

  • Intends to give the digital content away under certain conditions

Identity

It's important to note that an artist is a human (even if that human is using AI to generate art). Therefore he/she has a passport or any other government ID. This is a crucial component to link web3 to the real world we live in.

Of course, technically, an author may want to stay anonymous and transact in crypto for full privacy. Silvermind doesn't (yet) cover this use case at the moment, because, it becomes nearly impossible to ensure the provenance of an artwork.
